The easiest way to detect a problem with your cooling system is noticing the temperature gauge reaching towards the red and/or noticing any puddles of antifreeze underneath your vehicle. When this happens, the cooling system in your car is not functioning properly. If left alone, this problem can lead to permanent damage to the engine.

At CJ Foreign Car, we will examine the key components that operate your vehicle’s cooling system and make repairs accordingly. These key components include the radiator, thermostat, water pump and radiator hoses. Performing a pressure test on the system will pin point weaknesses in the system. We will also read your vehicle's computer as many cars will record cooling system failures and cause your Check Engine light to appear.

At CJ Foreign Car, we recommended a Coolant Flush as preventative maintenance for the cooling system every 2 years or 24,000 miles. In this service the entire cooling system is first cleaned by removing all debris and worn out coolant from the system. Then, fresh new premium coolant is added with a conditioner to prevent rust/corrosion along with a sealer to prevent future leaks.
